Over Where???

It is Spring break '09 and I'm spending it HERE:

Delaware is a small state located in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. I've been browsing the internet trying to find some interesting facts about Delaware, but, really, there aren't any. But here are a few bits of information you probably did not now about the state:
  • In case you didn't read what the Delaware state quarter says, Delaware was the first state to ratify the constitution.
  • Delaware is the only state without any National Park System units such as national parks, seashores, historic sites, battlefields, memorials, and monuments.
  • The most historic site in Delaware is Barratt's Chapel (no relation). The chapel is where the Methodist Church of America was organized in 1784.
  • The Lady Bug is Delaware's official state bug.
  • Delaware is sometimes referred to as the Blue Hen State, after its state bird, the Blue Hen.
  • Delaware is the second smallest state.
  • Delaware was considered the three lower counties of Pennsylvania until the American Revolution.
  • Delaware has the lowest median elevation of any state at 59 ft. above sea level.
  • Delaware is named after the first Governor of Virginia, Lord de la Warr (really!)
  • Delaware's state slogan is Its good being first!
After learning a little about Delaware, you have probably come to the conclusion that Delaware is not your typical spring break destination, and i concur. But Delaware is the perfect location for me to spend my spring break because my goals for this week off are simple:
  1. Study for the GRE every day, boring, right??
  2. Write three papers
  3. Spend time with my family.
So far I have done both 1 and 3. I have yet to start working on number 2, but i still have a few days left!
